Clarissa Fray as Alice: An average girl living with her mom in Brooklyn. When her best friend invites her to an event he has planned she is sucked into a Magical World she finds it hard to escape from

Jace Wayland as the Mad Hatter: An aloof and erratic young man who seems to have a strong fixation with his group's newest member

Alec Lightwood as Tweedle Dee: The more shy an less pronounced of the Tweedle Twins

Isabelle Lightwood as Tweedle Dum: The more open and outspoken of the Tweedle Twins

Magnus Bane as the Cheshire Cat: A suave, cocky cat-boy who hangs around Jace and the Tweedle twins, mainly with Tweedle Dee

Simon Lewis as the White Rabbit: A friend of Clary's who convinces her to go with him to an old subway station where their adventure begins

Maia Roberts as the March Hare: An out spoken rabbit-girl who sticks with Jace's group only for the White Hair, who also only sticks around because Clary is with Jace

Raphael Santiago as the Door Mouse: A latino boyt who seems to have the features of a mouse. He trails around after Jace and his gang for reasons of his own, all in all he seems decent.

Luke Garroway as the Knight of Hearts: A strong man extremely loyal to his King and Queen, also personal guard of the Queen.

Jocelyn Morgenstern/Fray as the Queen of Hearts and Clarissa's Mother: A kinda woman, despite the rumors of her harsh treatment to her subjects. She likes to attempt kindness to all those in her Kingdom, though her husband constantly forbids her plans. She seems rather close to her guard, the Knight of Hearts./A plain, single mother taking care of her teenage daughter in Brooklyn.

Valentine Morgenstern as the King of Hearts: A power hungry man looking to create a perfect Kingdom. The only thing in the way of his goal is Jace and his gang.

Max Lightwood as the Caterpillar: A boy who likes to be alone, he is often seen reading comic books, or any kind of book for that matter, and in that sense can offer many amounts of wisdom to someone if they need it.

Maryse Lightwood as a Chess piece (Bishop): A soldier of the Hearts.

Robert Lightwood as a Chess piece (Knight): A soldier of the Hearts.

Imogen as the Duchess: A woman in cahoots with the Heart Kingdom royalty, though she is not proud of it and has a burning hate for the King that employs her
I was working on a short story I named Mortal Wonderland, then realized how interesting the title was to the series I'm reading, so I made this.
Reasoning for each character:
Clary - Why not? Her life in the normal MI series is Alice in Wonderland enough
Jace - I was going to make Magnus it but after seeing Tim Burton's movie (and totally starting to ship Alice/Hatter) this had to be done
Alec & Isabelle - They're the only siblings I know...
Magnus - Anyone who didn't think of this obviously didn't read the books well enough...the cat bit of Magnus just stands out all too well
Simon - It just seemed to work with who could lead Clary to the world
Maia - I started running out of characters
Raphael - Same as Maia
Luke - I wanted all of the old members of the circle to have some close affiliation with Valentine
Jocelyn - She is the Queen of Hearts but also Clary's mother in the beginning...it's weird plot stuff you'll understand later
Valentine - I wanted this to be serious, otherwise I would have made him the Queen
Max - Characters...running...low...
Maryse & Robert - Luke's reason...Maryse is really smart, and I see Bishops as being smart, Robert is strong and intimidating, like a knight
Imogen - The Duchess and the inquisitor are both b***hes
(also, does anyone know Raphael's last name, if he has any? That'd be appreciated. Please forgive my grammar, it's late over here for me.)
